Chief Executive Officer

Sondre’s favorite class at SATS is Cardio Energy and HIIT

Experience: Sondre Gravir has been the Chief Executive Officer of SATS since 2018. Prior to this, he has held several chief executive and other senior management positions. He has held the position as Chief Executive Officer of Schibsted Marketplaces, Executive Vice President of Schibsted Established Markets, as well as Chief Executive Officer of Finn.no, Aftenposten and Bergens Tidende. Gravir also has consultancy experience from his years as a consultant in McKinsey. Further on, Gravir has experience from several Schibsted boards internationally. He is currently a member of the board of directors of Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA and FINN.

Education: Gravir has a business degree (Nw.: Siviløkonom) from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) (Nw.: Norges Handelshøyskole).

Residence: He is a Norwegian citizen, currently residing in Norway.

Chief Financial Officer

Cecilie’s favorite class at SATS is HIIT!

Experience: Cecilie Elde has been the Chief Financial Officer of SATS since 2016. She has a longstanding relationship with the company’s business, and has held the positions as Business Controller, Finance Manager and Vice Chief Financial Officer. Prior to becoming the Chief Financial Officer, Elde held managerial positions in the Norwegian telecommunication companies NetCom and Tele2, including as Head of Finance & Business Analysis at Tele2 Norge. She is currently a member of the board of RevolutionRace AB, a sports clothing company.

Education: Elde has a Master’s in Economics from the Norwegian Business School (BI).

Residence She is a Norwegian citizen, currently residing in Norway.

Chief Digital Officer

Gaute’s favorite class at SATS is Indoor Running and Build’n Burn!

Experience: Gaute Sandal has been with SATS since 2017, and has served as Business Development Director, Commercial Director and Nordic Customer Journey Director, before he in 2021 was appointed Nordic Director of Consumer, Insight & Technology. Prior to joining SATS, he has held the positions as both Head of marketing and Business Development Director in Arcus. He started his professional career as a management consultant in McKinsey. Sandal does not have any principal activities outside his employment with the company.

Education: He has a business degree (Nw.: Siviløkonom) from the Norwegian Business School (BI).

Residence: He is a Norwegian citizen, currently residing in Norway.

Chief Product Officer

Silje’s favorite classes at SATS is Indoor running and HIIT

Experience: Silje Garberg Ree joined SATS in 2017. She currently serves as Nordic Director of Product and Retail, but has previously held the positions as Nordic Retail Director and Nordic Director of Retail and New Business. Prior to joining SATS, she has held several senior positions in Orkla, including Customer Strategy Manager and Business Development Director. Garberg Ree also has consultancy experience from her years as a consultant in Boston Consulting Group. Further on, she has board experience from Salvesen & Thams and Medistim ASA. Garberg Ree does not have any principal activities outside her employment with the company.

Education: She has a business degree (Nw.: Siviløkonom) from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) (Nw.: Norges Handelshøyskole).

Chief People & Operations Officer

Experience: Torodd Gøystdal joined SATS in 2022. Prior to joining SATS, he held the position as CEO of Espresso House Norge. Gøystdal started his career in SAS and has served several other senior managerial positions in Deli de Luca and NorgesGruppen ASA. Gøystdal does not hold any shares in SATS ASA and does not have any principal activities outside his employment with the company.

Education: Gøystdal has a business degree Master in Management from Norwegian Business School (BI) and Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) (Nw.: Norges Handelshøyskole). Residence: He is a Norwegian citizen, currently residing in Norway.

Chief Marketing and Communication Officer

Experience: Mia Lund Hanusek joined SATS in 2024 following a long-standing professional background in marketing. Prior to this she has held similar positions at Bluestep Bank, MediaMarkt and Indiska and has also experience from management consulting at Lynxeye and McKinsey.

Education: Hanusek holds a Master of Science degree in International Business from School of Business, Economics and Law, at University of Gothenburg.

Residence: She is a Swedish citizen, currently residing in Sweden.

Country Manager Sweden

Karolina Gutke was appointed Country Manager for SATS Sweden in 2023. Prior to joining SATS, she has had a long career in H&M, leading various divisions and brands, through roles such as Managing Director for & Other Stories and Growth Lead for H&M Group in Brazil. Gutke does not have any principal activities outside her employment with the company.

Education: She has a master’s degree in economics from the Lund University.

Residence: She is a Swedish citizen, currently residing in Sweden.

Country Manager Norway

Wenche’s favorite class is Cycling, she is also an instructor in this class.

Experience: Wenche Evertsen has been the Country Manager of SATS Norway since 2020. She has a longstanding relationship with SATS’ business, and has previously held the positions as Operations Support Director, Managing Director and Finance Director, among others. Prior to becoming the Country Manager of Norway, Evertsen held managerial positions in Amesto Solutions and Face2face Design & Communication. She has board experience from Interface Intelligence and Blue Jeans Diplomacy. Evertsen does not have any principal activities outside her employment with the company.

Education: She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and an Executive Master of Management from the Norwegian Business School (BI).

Residence: She is a Norwegian citizen, currently residing in Norway.

Country Manager Finland

Experience: Aleksi Virkkunen joined SATS in 2024 as Country Manager for ELIXIA Finland. Prior to joining SATS, Virkkunen held the position as Country Manager of Byggmax Finland for nine years. Virkkunen has also held the positions as Store Intensity Manager at Rautakesko and Development Manager at SOK ABC Chain Management.

Education: Virkkunen holds a Master of Science degree from Helsinki School of Business.

Residence: He is a Finnish citizen, currently residing in Finland.

Country Manager Denmark

Kim’s favorite class at SATS is HIIT.

Experience: Kim Trier Meyer joined SATS in 2022, when he was appointed as Country Manager for SATS Denmark. Prior to joining SATS, Meyer has held various managerial positions in the retail industry. In addition, he has experience from the fitness industry after having served as Market Director in Fitness World.

Education: He has studied The Higher Commercial Examination Programme at Vejle Handelsskole.

Residence: He is a Danish citizen, currently residing in Denmark.
